Objectives:

To evaluate swine and cattle manure: i) as fertilizers for annual crop production, ii) as amendments to improve soil quality in intensive cropping systems, iii) for effectiveness in reducing flax cadmium content over 1-3 years of application, and iv) for effectiveness in reducing cadmium content of subsequent crops in the rotation.
